OWEA has an active young professionals group with events held throughout the year. Our Young Professionals Committee ensures that we continue to attract and provide a great environment for the young professionals in our industry to grow and develop their careers.
The mission of the Young Professionals Committee is to increase involvement in OWEA by students and professionals who are new to the water/wastewater industry. The Young Professionals Committee is currently chaired by Garrett Putman and Adam Burk.

How to get connected
If you are a Young Professional looking to get connected with us, the best way is to attend one of our quarterly board meetings or any of our upcoming events. Introduce yourself and say hello! We are always looking for new members and welcome all our guests.
